Today, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) rewarded the project Love Myself of BTS with Inspire award in the “Integrated campaigns and events” category. The goal of the project is to spread the highest values. The award is given to the campaign that has most influenced and inspired people to improve children’s rights, raise funds, and promote.
In UNICEF tents that were set up near concert venues for the 2019 tour, BTS spoke about the reality of child and adolescent abuse around the world and shared the value of self-love with fans from around the globe, which led the campaign to the award. The Secretary General of UNICEF in Korea noted that BTS’s actions in the framework of the Love Myself project have a very positive impact on the world.
“BTS’s message that you need to love yourself in order to be able to love others creates positive changes around the world. I believe that this award is the result of the positive impact of BTS, as it inspires children and young people around the world with courage. As a Korean, I am really proud that they received this award, and I would like to take this opportunity to once again sincerely thank BTS and Big Hit Entertainment for their continued active support of the UNICEF #ENDviolence campaign”,
